John Norris Walkers Contribute to Raising £10,000 for Hospice at Home

As many of you may know, the staff here at John Norris of Penrith set off at midnight on 21st June on a walk for one our favourite charities, Hospice at Home. The event was a great success and Julie Blundell from Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland wrote us the following letter;

Hope you are keeping well and enjoying the long awaited summer sun.

I just wanted to pop you through an email to relay huge thanks to the John Norris Team of Midnight Walkers.  Thank you to all that took part and to all the supporters who gave so generously.  The funds will help support so many families in the local area who in the future need our nursing team at a tragic time.

There was amazing support for our first walk with 270 participants of our local community taking part and to date over £10,000 has been kindly donated.

The generosity of Penrith and the surrounding area never ceases to amaze us here at the Fundraising Office.  We thank you all at John Norris’ for continuing to commit to

Our cause of raising funds for families and patients of the future.

Your support is truly appreciated.

We are absolutely delighted to see that our efforts, along with the assistance of the Penrith community, is resulting in so much help for those less fortunate than ourselves. We will be looking at ways that we can help local charities in the future and would value any suggestions you may have.
