The River Eden without a doubt is one of the finest wild brown trout fisheries on the planet.  Each season the John Norris Pro Team catch brownies up to and above 4lb and full seasons on the river can produce well over 50 fish.  One of the best evening sessions last year in July on the lower Eden at Warwick Hall was 25 browns up to 3.5lb, 18 Grayling up to 2lb and a Sea Trout of 4.6lb all by one angler fishing a size 18 Griffiths Gnat.
