Today we answer the question - What to look out for when buying a spinning rod?
When you are out fishing there are times when you will need to use spinning rods to fish for Trout, Salmon, Pike or Perch. Here are a few things to consider when choosing a spinning rod. When fishing for smaller fish such as Brown Trout and Perch, the most practical length is a Spinning rod measuring from 7’ to 8’ this will cast and fish smaller lures better and you will have more fun playing the fish. Bigger species like Salmon, Sea Trout and Pike need more powerful rods measuring 9’ to 11’ to handle heavier spinners and lures better, as well as being able to control hard fighting fish in in stronger currents.
