  • Description

The Guideline Bullet+ WF fly line is your top choice for streamer-, sea trout- or salmon fishing with singlehanded rods. It is virtually unaffected by wind and larger flies and shoots like a bullet.

On top of that it has great balance and despite the short head it doesn’t collapse during flight. The taper-design reduces any disturbance in the loop and sends the line flying with a minimum of false casts. A 9.25 m long head and a 3.0 metre long, level handling line behind the back taper make the line forgiving and versatile. It will cast far with good control and little effort. Spey casting properties are excellent and the line is super effective when fishing in tight and overgrown rivers. It is also popular in lake or coast situations where room for back cast is a bit restricted.

Bullet+ has a head length of 9.25m/30ft and a total length of 30m/98ft, it is ideally suited for mid-long-range work. The powerful 5.5m/18’ long front taper delivers uncompromised turnover and presentations of all fly types. The belly has the weight concentrated towards the back, to make it an ideal line for streams and smaller to medium sized rivers. It has a 1.8 m/5,9’ back taper that is long enough to stabilize at long range and yet, still short enough to make the line highly suitable for spey casts. The back taper transforms into a comfortable 3.0 metres long ”handling line” before the thinner shooting line kicks in.

The handling line is a slightly thicker part of the running line which makes your loops a bit more rigid. It also adds flexibility to how much line you can manage in the air, the so called overhang, when your whole head length is outside the rod tip. Therefore becoming a bit less sensitive if you miss the sweet spot. It also adds strength to the most vulnerable part of the line that takes a lot of strain when you are double hauling. The bright green colour of the running line extends half way up onto the back taper. This indicates the lines so called sweet spot to keep outside the rod tip, and where the line performs at its best. It is looped in both ends and has a laser ID marking in the front. Total length of the line is 30 m/98 feet in all sizes.

FITTING GUIDE AND ADVICE

For Guideline Wading Boots, please order one size larger than your normal UK shoe size.
Taking accurate body measurements is one of the keys to a great fit; all you need is a tape measure.
While it's easiest to have someone else take your measurements, you can also do it yourself.
Stand in front of a mirror to make sure you have the tape measure in the right position. Ideally, you should be measured wearing only your underwear or close fitting clothing.
Because the body is made of soft tissue, it can be a bit difficult to know exactly how tight to pull the tape around the body.
The tape should be a bit snug, but not tight-it should not "dig in" or make an indentation in the body. It should not be loose, either! Just wrap the tape around the area of the body being measured and hold it in place. You should be able to put a finger behind the tape, but no more than that.
To measure the length of the foot, stand with your back against a wall and put the foot so the heel touches the wall. Then take a measurement at the position of your longest toe. Do this with a bare foot.
Please note! All measurements are presented in centimeters and are measures of your own body, not the garment.
These charts are only a guide to find the size you need. Trying them on, in real life, is always the best way to find a perfect fit.
The fit of fishing clothing is not only about size of your body. It also comes down to personal preferences of how loose or slim you want them.
If you often fish during the cold weather season and have the need for extra base and fleece-layers, remember to allow for this when you choosing your  size.
